TRIBUTE TO RUTH RHOADES
We here at Lamplighters have lost someone who was a very special part of our ministry for over two decades. Ruth had a servant’s heart and generously contributed to Lamplighters as a leader, as a teacher, and as a person who was ready to help in any way she was asked. You may not think you knew Ruth, but if you have downloaded a lesson from our website you have received a gift from her because she is the person who formatted all of them. At times like this, the best way I know to honor her is to let the people closest to her share their thoughts. Here are just a few of the words Ruth’s friends used to describe her: servant, faithful, obedient, wise, passionate about Jesus, insightful, intelligent, grateful, hopeful, lover of the Lord, curious, steadfast, courageous, and always trusted God’s plan for her.
Rest in peace Ruth, we will miss you!
