Dates & Times
Lamplighters follows the school year calendar. We kick off a new study each September and meet weekly through mid-April. We take a break between Thanksgiving and New Year’s and follow the Austin Independent School District schedule for spring break and other holiday and bad weather closings.
While we meet at various locations and times throughout the week, all our Lamplighters study the same scriptures of the Bible, using a coordinated lesson schedule and weekly podcast. Read about our different meeting times and register for one that works best for your schedule. If you don’t see a convenient date and time, or you don’t live in Austin, we are open to helping you start a new Lamps on Location or Virtual Lamps group. Wednesday Morning
9:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, FE 200 at Covenant Presbyterian Church for meet and greet.
10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. meet in small groups either on campus or virtually.

Our largest Lamplighters group! Women will independently listen to weekly podcast that will be posted every Monday, then gather for a meet and greet and break into small groups for discussion and prayer time. Small groups stay together for the whole year. Twice a year we have fellowship lunches so groups can enjoy extended time together. We end our year with a picnic where we feast on one another’s company and delicious food at The Skaggs Ranch.
Wednesday Evening – Hybrid
Lamps on Location are small groups that meet at various times and locations during the week. Members of these small groups listen to the weekly lecture via podcast. This group will meet virtually with occasional in-person fellowships.

Monday Evening – Hybrid and In-Person
Our Monday evening groups will have two options in 2023-2024, hybrid and in-person. The hybrid group will meet virtually with occasional in-person fellowships and the in-person group will meet at Covenant.

Designed especially for working women, but open and welcoming to all. Listen to the podcast at your convenience, then join your small group Monday nights via Zoom or in-person for discussion and prayer. The hybrid group will meet occasionally in-person, either all together or as your small group chooses.
